John has been an enthusiastic picture maker since he was eleven. He was introduced to photography in Singapore, which was a glorious place to begin learning his craft. After working for a very talented food photographer for eleven years, he became self-employed. To begin with he shared a studio near Queen’s Club tennis courts. Then he rented various studios and became a very early adopter of high end digital studio cameras. These days he has reverted to his original modus. Travel light.
